It’s time to get to know the real God!

A.)

There are certain thing the Christian should Abhor.
The word abhor is rendered: intense hate, or abominable. Ask yourself what evil do you look upon in this way.

Romans 12:9
“Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good.”

Proverbs 8:13
“The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way, And the perverted mouth, I hate.”

There are certain things Christians should look at as Abominations.

Proverbs 17:15
“He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the righteous, Both of them alike are an abomination to the LORD.”

Deuteronomy 7:25
“The graven images of their gods you are to burn with fire; you shall not
covet the silver or the gold that is on them, nor take it for yourselves, lest you be snared by it, for it is an abomination to the LORD your God.”

Abortion is the greatest sin mankind has perpetrated upon his fellow man in the history of the world.

Jeremiah 1:5
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

Galatians 1:15
“But when He who had set me apart, even from my mother’s womb, and called me through His grace, was pleased”

Luke 1:15
“For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and he will drink no wine or liquor; and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, while yet in his mother’s womb.”

Psalms 22:10
“Upon Thee I was cast from birth; Thou hast been my God from my mother’s womb.”

There are those that think of themselves as Christian, but are not, they are Accursed.

Galatians 1:7-9
“But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9) As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to that which you received, let him be accursed.”

Adam passed the sin nature on to all mankind, evident by the fact all die. Horses bare horses, birds bare birds and sinful men bare sinful men. Sin springs forth from an evil nature, that’s why we don’t have to teach people how to lie and steal and such, because it just comes naturally to them.

Romans 5:12
“Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned”...

Ephesians 2:3
“Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh,
indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by
nature children of wrath, even as the rest.”

Answers about our faith are not always easy to give.
That is why we need to study our Bibles and always
be ready to respond

1 Peter 3:15
“but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence;”

Anger can be divine.
But, don’t use it to excuse bad behavior.

Psalms 7:11
“God is a just judge, And God is angry with the wicked every day.”

Mark 3:5
“And after looking around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart, He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored.”

Mark 11:15
“And they came to Jerusalem. And He entered the temple and began to cast out those who were buying and selling in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who were selling doves;”

Anger should be dealt with immediately.

Ephesians 4:26-27
“Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your
anger, 27) and do not give the devil an opportunity.”

Arguing often is fruitless, but can at times be directed by God.

Acts 9:28-29
“And he was with them moving about freely in Jerusalem, speaking out boldly in the name of the Lord. 29) And he was talking and arguing with the Hellenistic Jews; but they were attempting to put him to death.”

Acts 15:2
“And when Paul and Barnabas had great dissension and debate with them, the brethren determined that Paul and Barnabas and certain others of them should go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders concerning this issue.”

Armor is what the Christian needs to be wearing
all the time.

Ephesians 6:10-11
“Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of His might. 11) Put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.”

Astrology is wrong and Christians should have nothing to do with it. Note: There is a big difference between
Astrology and Astronomy.

Isaiah 47:13
“You are wearied with your many counsels; Let now the astrologers, Those who prophesy by the stars, Those who predict by the new moons, Stand up and save you from what will come upon you.”

Atheism resembles an ostrich with it’s head buried
in the dirt.

Psalms 14:1
“The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they have committed abominable deeds; There is no one who does good.”

Romans 1:19-20
“because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20) For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.”

B.)

The truth of Baptism is important to properly understand.

John 1:33
“And I did not recognize Him, but He who sent me to baptize in water said to me, ‘He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon Him, this is the one who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.”

Acts 1:5
“for John baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

Acts 11:15-16
“And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, just as He did upon us at the beginning. 16) “And I remembered the word of the Lord, how He used to say, ‘John baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

1 Corinthians 12:13
“For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.”

Spirit Baptism.

Ephesians 4:5
“one Lord, one faith, one baptism,”

Believing is the requirement to be saved.

John 5:24
“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.”

Romans 10:9
“that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved;”

Believing does not always have the correct foundation.
As a result some that believe are not saved.
Keep in mind the devil believes in Jesus. It’s not the
believing that matters, but the object of your believing that makes the difference. Believing in the right Jesus and what’s right about Him. Personal application is essential.

1 John 2:19
“They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.”

2 Corinthians 13:5-6
“Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you — unless indeed you fail the test? 6) But I trust that you will realize that we ourselves do not fail the test.”

2 Corinthians 11:13-14
“For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. 14) And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.”

1 John 4:1
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.”

Hebrews 3:12
“Take care, brethren, lest there should be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart, in falling away from the living God.”

Hebrews 10:38-39
“But My righteous one shall live by faith; And if he shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in him. 39) But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the preserving of the soul.”

Bible testimonies assert the scriptures came from God,
evident by the writers giving the credit to God.

2 Samuel 23:2
“The Spirit of the LORD spoke by me, And His word was on my tongue.”

Jeremiah 1:9
“Then the LORD stretched out His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me,” ...

Isaiah 59:21
“And as for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the LORD: “My Spirit which is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says the LORD, “from now and forever.”

2 Timothy 3:16
“All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching,
for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;”

2 Peter 1:21
“for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.”

Blessed are you when.

Luke 6:21-23
“Blessed are you who hunger now, for you shall be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh. 22) “Blessed are you when men hate you, and ostracize you, and cast insults at you, and spurn your name as evil, for the sake of the Son of Man. 23) “Be glad in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven; for in the same way their fathers used to treat the prophets.”

Blood is where the life is.

Leviticus 17:11
“For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood by reason of the life that makes atonement.”

The Blood of Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 9:14
“how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”

Hebrews 10:18-19
“Now where there is forgiveness of these things, there is no longer any offering for sin. 19) Since therefore, brethren, we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus,”

Ephesians 2:13
“But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.”

C.)

Captivate your thoughts; it’s a battlefield of thoughts.

2 Corinthians 10:5
“We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,”

Ephesians 6:12
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

Characteristics of a Christian.

Galatians 5:22-26
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23) gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24) Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 ) If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. 26 ) Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another.”

Church unity is essential for a church to be all it can be,
so believe theses things...

Ephesians 4:1-6
“I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, entreat you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, 2) with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing forbearance to one another in love, 3) being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4) There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; 5) one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6) one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.”

Christian advice.

Philippians 2:1-5
“If therefore there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, 2) make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. 3) Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind let each of you regard one another as more important than himself; 4) do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. 5) Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus,”

Philippians 4:8-9
“Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things. 9) The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things; and the God of peace shall be with you.”

Colossians 3:16-17
“Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. 17) And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.”

The circle of the Earth was foretold roughly 2200 years
before man proved the world was round.

Isaiah 40:22
“It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.”

Confession is the equivalent of not being ashamed
of identifying yourself with Jesus.

Luke 12:8-9
“And I say to you, everyone who confesses Me before men, the Son of Man shall confess him also before the angels of God; 9) but he who denies Me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.”

Covenant is valid only when the One who made it is dead.

Hebrews 9:15-17
“And for this reason He is the mediator of a new covenant, in order that
since a death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. 16) For where a covenant is, there must of necessity be the death of the one who made it. 17) For a covenant is valid only when men are dead, for it is never in force while the one who made it lives.”

Creator God.

Genesis 1:1
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

Creator the Father.

1 Corinthians 8:6
“yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.”

Creator Jesus.

John 1:3
“All things came into being by Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.”

Creator Holy Spirit.

Psalms 104:30
“Thou dost send forth Thy Spirit, they are created; And Thou dost
renew the face of the ground.”
Creator One God.

Malachi 2:10
“Do we not all have one father? Has not one God created us?”

Crowns

1 Corinthians 9:25-27
“And everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. They then do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. 26) Therefore I run in such a way, as not without aim; I box in such a way, as not beating the air; 27) but I buffet my body and make it my slave, lest possibly, after I have preached to others, I myself should be disqualified.”

1 Thessalonians 2:19-20
“For who is our hope or joy or crown of exultation? Is it not even you, in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming? 20} For you are our glory and joy.”

2 Timothy 4:8
“in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.”

James 1:12
“Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been
approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord has
promised to those who love Him.”

1 Peter 5:2-4
“shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not for sordid gain, but with eagerness; 3) nor yet as lording it over those allotted to your charge, but proving to be examples to the flock. 4) And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.”

Cruel messenger.

Proverbs 17:11
“A rebellious man seeks only evil, So a cruel messenger will be sent against him.”

D.)

Dead ...Jesus rose from the dead by the Father.

Romans 8:11
“But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who indwells you.”

1 Corinthians 6:14
“Now God has not only raised the Lord, but will also raise us up through His power.”

Dead ...Jesus rose Himself from the dead demonstrating
He is God.

John 2:19-21
“Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” 20) The Jews therefore said, “It took forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?” 21) But He was speaking of the temple of His body.”

John 10:30
“I and the Father are one.”

Depravity.

Psalms 51:5
“Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother
conceived me.”

Psalms 58:3
“The wicked are estranged from the womb; These who speak lies go astray from birth.”

Jeremiah 17:9
“The heart is more deceitful than all else And is desperately sick; Who can understand it?”

Romans 3:10-11
“There is none righteous, not even one; 11) There is none who understands, There is none who seeks for God;”

1 Corinthians 15:22
“For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shall be made alive.”

Ephesians 2:3
“Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.”

Deeds of the flesh.

Galatians 5:19-21
“Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20) idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, 21) envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you just as I have forewarned you that those who practice such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”

Demons can infiltrate people.

Mark 1:39
“And He went into their synagogues throughout all Galilee, preaching and casting out the demons.”

Give the Devil no opportunity.

Ephesians 4:27
“and do not give the devil an opportunity.”

Resist the Devil.

James 4:7
“Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”

Jesus Died, once for all.

Hebrews 10:10-12
“By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. 11) And every priest stands daily ministering and offering time after time the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins; 12) but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God,”

Doctrine is essential for true Christian’s maturity.

1 Timothy 4:6
“In pointing out these things to the brethren, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, constantly nourished on the words of the faith and of the sound doctrine which you have been following.”

Titus 1:9
“holding fast the faithful word which is in accordance with the teaching, that he may be able both to exhort in sound doctrine and to refute those who contradict.”

2 Timothy 4:3-4
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires; 4) and will turn away their ears from the truth, and will turn aside to myths.”

Drunkards are in big trouble.

Proverbs 20:1
“Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler, And whoever is intoxicated by it is not wise.”

1 Corinthians 6:10
“nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”

E.)

Election is an essential doctrine of the Christian faith.

Romans 8:29-30
“For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the first-born among many brethren; 30) and whom He predestined, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.”

2 Thessalonians 2:13
“But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.”

Eternal Life, is an eternal love relationship that starts with regeneration and can never end, otherwise it would never have been eternal life to begin with.

John 5:24
“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.”

1 John 5:13
“These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that you may know that you have eternal life.”

John 10:27-30
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; 28) and I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish; and no one shall snatch them out of My hand. 29) “My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. 30) “I and the Father are one.”

Romans 8:38-39
“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39) nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord”

Romans 6:23
“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Romans 11:29
“for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.”

2 Timothy 2:13
“If we are faithless, He remains faithful; for He cannot deny Himself.”

Evolution will make a monkey out of you.

Genesis 1:26-27
“Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27) And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”

Job 11:12
“And an idiot will become intelligent
When the foal of a wild donkey is born a man.”

Eyewitness testimonies, testify to the truth.

2 Peter 1:16
“For we did not follow cleverly devised tales when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were
eyewitnesses of His majesty.”

Luke 1:1-4
“In as much as many have undertaken to compile an account of the things accomplished among us, 2) just as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and servants of the word have handed them down to us, 3) it seemed fitting for me as well, having investigated everything carefully from the beginning, to write it out for you in consecutive order, most excellent Theophilus; 4) so that you might know the exact truth about the things you have been taught.”

F.)

We are justified by Faith.

Galatians 2:16
“nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law shall no flesh be justified.”

Ephesians 2:8-9
“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9) not as a result of works, that no one should boast.”

Romans 4:5
“But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is reckoned as righteousness,”

Titus 3:5-7
“He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, 6) whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7) that being justified by His grace we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”

Faith is evidence of who and what we are.

1 Peter 1:7
“that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ;”

Romans 5:3-5
“And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; 4) and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; 5) and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”

James 1:2-4
“Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, 3) knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. 4) And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”

Faith is.

Hebrews 11:1
“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”

Father ...only one that should be respected and
called Father.

Matthew 23:9
“And do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven.”

Fear of God.

Proverbs 8:13
“The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way, And the perverted mouth, I hate.”

Proverbs 9:10
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”

Matthew 10:28
“And do not fear those who kill the body, but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”

2 Corinthians 5:11
“Therefore knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest to God; and I hope that we are made manifest also in your consciences.”

Hebrews 10:31
“It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”

Revelation 14:6-7
“And I saw another angel flying in midheaven, having an eternal gospel to preach to those who live on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people; 7) and he said with a loud voice, “Fear God, and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made the heaven and the earth and sea and springs of waters.”

Foods are all good.

1 Timothy 4:1-5
“But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,
2) by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, 3) men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods, which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth. 4) For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, if it is received with gratitude; 5) for it is sanctified by means of the word of God and prayer.”

Forgiveness is wonderful.

Isaiah 1:18
“Come now, and let us reason together, “ Says the LORD, “Though your sins are as scarlet, They will be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They will be like wool.”

Hebrews 8:12
“For I will be merciful to their iniquities, And I will remember their sins no more.”

Forgiving one another is essential for Christian growth.

Luke 17:3-4
“Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. 4) “And if he sins against you seven times a day, and returns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ forgive him.”

Ephesians 4:32
“And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.”

Mark 11:26
“But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your transgressions.”

Colossians 3:13
“bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a
complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also
should you.”

James 2:13
“For judgment will be merciless to one who has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment.”

Jesus is eternally Faithful to us.

2 Timothy 2:13
“If we are faithless, He remains faithful; for He cannot deny Himself.”

Foolishness to those that are perishing.

1 Corinthians 1:18
“For the word of the cross is to those who are perishing foolishness, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”

Foolish ones.

1 Corinthians 1:27
“but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong,”

G.)

His Glory before the world was declares that Jesus is God.

John 17:5
“And now, glorify Thou Me together with Thyself, Father, with the glory which I had with Thee before the world was.”

Isaiah 42:8
“I am the LORD, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to graven images.”

God is Spirit.

John 4:24
“God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

God is Love.

1 John 4:16
“And we have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.”

God is one God.

Isaiah 43:10
“You are My witnesses,” declares the LORD, “And My servant whom I have chosen, In order that you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, And there will be none after Me.”

Isaiah 44:6
“Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel And his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: ‘I am the first and I am the last, And there is no God besides Me.”

And we know by this that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.”

O death, where is your sting?” 56) The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; 57) but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58) Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.”

Jesus is coming!

1 Thessalonians 4:13-17
“But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve, as do the rest who have no hope. 14) For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. 15) For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, and remain until the coming of the Lord, shall not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16) For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. 17) Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Lord.”

These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might”

L.)

Christ is the end of the Law.

Romans 10:4
“For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.”

Why the Law?

Galatians 3:16
“Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as referring to many, but rather to one, “And to your seed,” that is, Christ.”

Galatians 3:19
“Why the Law then? It was added because of transgressions, having been ordained through angels by the agency of a mediator, until the seed should come to whom the promise had been made.”

The Law was a tutor.

Galatians 3:24-25
“Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, that we may be justified by faith. 25) But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.”

Abolishing the Law.

The result of failure to keep the Law.

“For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.”

The Law is not for the righteous.

1 Timothy 1:9
“realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous man, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers”

True Love.

1 John 3:18
“Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.”

People in the last days.

2 Timothy 3:1-7
“But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2) For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3) unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, 4) treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; 5) holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; and avoid such men as these. 6) For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses, 7) always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth”

2 Timothy 4:3-4
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires; 4) and will turn away their ears from the truth, and will turn aside to myths.”

M.)

Marriage is a gift.

1 Corinthians 7:7
“Yet I wish that all men were even as I myself am. However, each man has his own gift from God, one in this manner, and another in that.”

Marriage is inferior to singleness.

1 Corinthians 7:32-33
“But I want you to be free from concern. One who is unmarried is concerned about the things of the Lord, how he may please the Lord; 33) but one who is married is concerned about the things of the world, how he may please his wife,”

They measure themselves by themselves.

1 Timothy 2:5
“For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,”

The Bible deals with the Mind.

Ephesians 4:22-24
“that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, 23) and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24) and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.”

“We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,”

Colossians 3:1-2
“If then you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2) Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.”

Money and Preachers.

1 Corinthians 9:14
“So also the Lord directed those who proclaim the gospel to get their living from the gospel.”

1 Timothy 5:17-18

“But shun foolish controversies and genealogies and strife and disputes about the Law; for they are unprofitable and worthless.”

N.)

Name calling at times can be Biblical.

“It has happened to them according to the true proverb, “A dog returns to its own vomit,” and, “A sow, after washing, returns to wallowing in the mire.”

“Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the false circumcision;”

Narrow Gate.

Matthew 7:13-14
“Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide, and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter by it. 14) “For the gate is small, and the way is narrow that leads to life, and few are those who find it.”

Natural Man.

1 Corinthians 2:14
“But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.”

O.)

Obey God rather than men.

Acts 5:29
“But Peter and the apostles answered and said,
“We must obey God rather than men.”

P.)

Paul’s fear for the Church.

2 Corinthians 12:20-21
“For I am afraid that perhaps when I come I may find you to be not what I wish and may be found by you to be not what you wish; that perhaps there may be strife, jealousy, angry tempers, disputes, slanders, gossip, arrogance, disturbances; 21) I am afraid that when I come again my God may humiliate me before you, and I may mourn over many of those who have sinned in the past and not repented of the impurity,
immorality and sensuality which they have practiced.”

Pictures of Jesus.

Exodus 20:3-4
“You shall have no other gods before Me. 4) “You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth.”

2 Corinthians 5:16
“Therefore from now on we recognize no man according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.”

Pot smoking.

Romans 13:14
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.

1 Peter 2:11
“Beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts
which wage war against the soul.”

There is power in weakness.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10
“And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10) Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.”

There is Power in the name of Jesus.

Acts 4:8-10
“Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers and elders of the people, 9) if we are on trial today for a benefit done to a sick man, as to how this man has been made well, 10) let it be known to all of you, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead — by this name this man stands here before you in good health.”

Acts 16:18
“And she continued doing this for many days. But Paul was greatly annoyed, and turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her!” And it came out at that very moment.”

Proclaim all these words in the streets.

Jeremiah 11:6
“And the LORD said to me, “Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, ‘Hear the words of this covenant and do them.”

Jeremiah 17:19-20
“Thus the LORD said to me, “Go and stand in the public gate, through which the kings of Judah come in and go out, as well as in all the gates of Jerusalem; 20) and say to them, ‘Listen to the word of the LORD, kings of Judah, and all Judah, and all inhabitants of Jerusalem, who come in through these gates:”

Proverbs 1:20-21
“Wisdom shouts in the street, She lifts her voice in the square; 21) At the head of the noisy streets she cries out; At the entrance of the gates in the city, she utters her sayings:”

Prayer.

Philippians 4:6-7
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7) And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Colossians 4:2
“Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving;”

Holy Spirit intercedes for us in prayers.

Romans 8:26
“And in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words;”
Win the Prize.

1 Corinthians 9:24
“Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win.”

They Prayed and Fasted.

Acts 14:23
“And when they had appointed elders for them in every church, having prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord in whom they had believed.”

Matthew 17:21
“But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

They Preached, unannounced, uninvited, and their messages were rejected. Noah preached for 120 years and had no converts other than his own family.

2 Peter 2:4-5
“For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of darkness, reserved for judgment; 5) and did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly;”

The Lord God, sent Preachers out, but they were mocked.

2 Chronicles 36:15-16
“And the LORD, the God of their fathers, sent word to them again and again by His messengers, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place; 16) but they continually mocked the messengers of God, despised His words and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against His people, until there was no remedy.”

John the Baptist preached God’s Word, and they cut his head off.

Matthew 14:10-11
“And he sent and had John beheaded in the prison. 11) And his head was brought on a platter and given to the girl; and she brought it to her mother.”

Jesus Preached and they hated Him.

John 7:7
“The world cannot hate you; but it hates Me because I testify of it, that its it’s deeds are evil.”

The two witnesses preached,
were killed and were resurrected.

Revelation 11:10-11
“And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and make merry; and they will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth. 11) And after the three and a half days the breath of life from God came into them, and they stood on their feet; and great fear fell upon those who were beholding them.”

They Preached.

Hebrews 11:36-38
“and others experienced mockings and scourgings, yes, also chains and imprisonment. 37) They were stoned, they were sawn in two, they were tempted, they were put to death with the sword; they went about in sheepskins, in goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, ill-treated 38) (men of whom the world was not worthy), wandering in deserts and mountains and caves and holes in the ground.”
We Preach to get the blood of the wicked off our hands.

Ezekiel 3:18-19
“When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die’; and you do not warn him or speak out to warn the wicked from his wicked way that he may live, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. 19) “Yet if you have warned the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have
delivered yourself.”

Acts 18:6
“And when they resisted and blasphemed, he shook out his garments and said to them, “Your blood be upon your own heads! I am clean. From now on I shall go to the Gentiles.””

We Preach for a good blessing and delight.

Proverbs 24:25
“But to those who rebuke the wicked will be delight,
And a good blessing will come upon them.”

We Preach because the Bible tells us to.

2 Timothy 4:1-2
“I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: 2) preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.”

The Prophets rebuked Israel for their sin,
but Israel would not listen.

2 Kings 17:13-14
“Yet the LORD warned Israel and Judah, through all His prophets and every seer, saying, “Turn from your evil ways and keep My commandments, My statutes according to all the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you through My servants the prophets.” 14) However, they did not listen, but stiffened their neck like their fathers, who did not believe in the LORD their God.”

The False Prophet test.

Deuteronomy 18:22
“When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not come about or come true, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.”

True Prophecy is from God.

2 Peter 1:21
“for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.”

Provide for your own.

1 Timothy 5:8
“But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.”

Q.)

Quench not the Spirit.

1 Thessalonians 5:19

R.)

The real God.

John 3:16-18
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.18) He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

The real Christ.

2 Peter 3:9
“The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.”

2 Thessalonians 1:7-8

You reap what you sow.

Galatians 6:7
“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows,
this he will also reap.”

There will be rewards.

Matthew 6:19-20

1 Corinthians 3:8-15
“Now he who plants and he who waters are one; but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 9) For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building. 10) According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building upon it. But let each man be careful how he builds upon it. 11} )For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12) Now if any man builds upon the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13) each man’s work will become evident; for the day will show it, because it is to be revealed with fire; and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work. 14) If any man’s work which he has built upon it remains, he shall receive a reward. 15) If any man’s work is burned up, he shall suffer loss; but he himself shall be saved, yet so as through fire.”

The one wanting to get Rich falls into temptation.

1 Timothy 6:9-10
“But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction. 10) For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith, and pierced themselves with many a pang.”

“for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. 11) For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed.” 12) For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call upon Him; 13) for “Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved.””

We do not shrink-back.

“But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the preserving of the soul.”

Anything not of faith is Sin.

Romans 14:23
“But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because his eating is not from faith; and whatever is not from faith is sin.”

Knowing what is right and not doing it, is Sin.

“Those who continue in sin, rebuke in the presence of all, so that the rest also may be fearful of sinning. 21) I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus and of His chosen angels, to maintain these principles without bias, doing nothing in a spirit of partiality.”

Expose Sin.
